|Metropolitan Menís Choir of the Twin Cities|
The Metropolitan Men's Choir is built around the pleasure of making music with good friends, and reaching for the best within us. We are not professional musicians; what bonds us together is the fun we have learning and performing great music. Our repertoire includes both sacred and secular music in a wide range of styles. We have performed folk tunes, hymns, jazz, madrigals, spirituals, chorales, and barbershop.
We are twenty-five voices strong and seek to share the fun of music-making with our audiences in the Twin Cities. Over the years, we have performed in venues ranging from the smallest churches to Orchestra Hall. We have performed with members of the Minnesota Orchestra, Twin Cities youth orchestras, and artists including Dorothy Benham and Tom Tipton.
MMC is under the direction of Tim Bauernfeind and welcomes new members. The choir is a non-profit organization and all contributions are tax deductible. For further information or to contact the MMC, please click the email link below.
